California Drywall Wins 2011 Excellence in Construction Safety Award

On April 6, 2011 California Drywall received recognition for their safety achievements, winning the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry's (AWCI) 2011 Excellence in Construction Safety Award for a company with more than 300,000 hours. The AWCI safety award gives national recognition to a contractor member who manages an effective safety program in a given year.

After reviewing applicants from across the nation, AWCI's Industry Awards Committee selected California Drywall on the basis of injury and health frequency rate data, experience modifier, safety statement and company safety-program information. The award was presented in Las Vegas at AWCI's Convention.  View Video
