The $81 million George and Judy Marcus Hall for the Liberal and Creative Arts at San Francisco State University was the first new academic building completed at San Francisco State in 25 years and is the home for the Broadcast & Electronic Communication Arts Department. The four-story, 75,000 square foot, teaching, research, and media production building, includes state of the art facilities for multidisciplinary classes in electronic media arts and features a professional television news studio, the student-run radio station KSFS, an audio recording studio, media presentation room, classrooms, the college’s dean’s office, and administrative offices.
