A $60 million, six-story, 80,000 square foot Academic Building is designed for flexibility and change. It features state-of-the-art technology and flexible spaces aimed at transforming the student experience, including eight classrooms that can be converted to flexible-use rooms or new classroom designs in the future. It also includes 4 flat, flexible-use spaces for experiential learning, 28 study rooms, lounges with configurable seating, a 300-seat event space with views of San Francisco Bay and a 3,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor café. The dual lobbies are spatially interconnected, tying together the two public floors. The Academic Building is designed to create an environment that enhances human health, comfort and performance. LEED Platinum and TRUE Zero Waste certifications.
